What we check
Five settings decide whether your email arrives, and whether other people can pretend to be you. We check all five and explain each one.
Mail servers
Where email for your domain is delivered. If this is wrong, you do not receive email.
Approved senders
The list of services allowed to send email as your domain, such as Microsoft 365 or your website.
Email signature
A hidden digital signature on each email that proves it really came from you and was not changed.
Spoofing protection
Tells other mail servers what to do with email that pretends to be from you but fails the checks above.
Spam lists
Whether your mail servers are on a public spam list that could cause your email to be rejected. Coming soon.
How it works
Enter your domain
Type the part of your email address after the @ sign, for example example.co.uk.
Read your results
Each setting shows Pass, Warning or Fail, with one sentence that says what it means for you.
Fix what needs fixing
Every problem comes with step-by-step instructions, and the exact record to copy into your DNS settings.
